Liam is currently a graduate student at the University of Cumberlands and is working towards his Master’s degree and licensure in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Prior to his career as a counselor, he graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biology and has worked in various hospitals in Washington State.
When it comes to counseling, Liam has a desire to work with a variety of ages and strives to help with whatever mental health needs you may have. His approach with clients is humanistic and collaborative, viewing the client as an expert on their own lives. He has a strong interest in existential philosophy and person-centered therapy. Liam grounds his therapeutic approach in empathy, honesty, humor, and genuine authenticity. He hopes that you will allow him to build a meaningful and compassionate relationship with you, where you can feel safe and comfortable to share your authentic self. Let us work together to shine a light on whatever your troubles may be no matter how dark they may feel.
When he is not fulfilling his duties as an intern, Liam can usually be found at home watching movies, reading, dancing by himself to music, or losing at chess.
