Child-Parent Relationship Therapy
CPRT is evidence-based and neuroscience-savvy parent support that teaches caregivers the skills of the Play Therapist. Unlike other parenting support groups, CPRT strengthens the parent-child relationship through child-led activities that foster children's self-esteem, self-control, and self-confidence.
Join our Child-Parent Relationship Therapy (CPRT) class to learn evidence-based play skills that reduce challenging behaviors, lower stress at home, and build a stronger emotional connection.
Small weekly changes → big family impact.
Classes meet online. Cost for each session of 4 classes is $199.
CPRT Part 1 - February 3, 10, 17, 24 | 7-9pm
Parents taking CPRT Part 1 will learn to facilitate special play time, the neuroscience behind why play works, strengthen attachment with their child, and practice limit-setting that enables choice-making. When you complete Part 1, you can sign up for Part 2, where we will continue our practice of play time skills, learn about specific ways parents can support esteem building, and learn ways to mitigate perfection-oriented anxiety. We hope you will join us on this journey of growing closer to your children and building peace in your home.
Part 1 will be offered twice more in 2026:
May 5, 12,19, 26| 7-9 pm
September 15, 22, 29 & October 6 | 7-9 pm
CPRT Part 2 - March 3, 10, 17, 24 | 7-9pm
This Part 2 of the Child Parent Relational Therapy curriculum revolves around providing caregivers with support and practice around the skills learned in Part 1, as well as building choice-giving, esteem-building, and problem-solving skills within the family. Parents that use this child-led approach report feeling more connected with their child, less intense conflict within the family and faster resolution of meltdowns. This course will help you build those skills in a way that sticks! In our CPRT Part 2 skills practice will be accompanied with education around how children develop self-esteem, as well as insight for mitigating perfection-oriented anxiety. We hope you will join us!
Part 2 will be offered once more in 2026:
October 20, 27 Nov 3, 10 | 7-9pm
