Play, Heal, Grow: Disaster Relief: Is a group of Play/Child Therapists that unite the Playborhood to support those impacted by Natural Disasters and large community tragedies to get supplies and resources to local play/child therapists in the local impacted community.

In collaboration with Texas Association for Play Therapy Olympia Therapy PLLC, Eastside Play Therapy, & Washington State Association for Play Therapy and with support of colleagues throughout the country
We will help deliver play therapy kits, creative expressive art supplies, sensory items, comfort objects, books, and resources to help youth and families process trauma, reconnect with playfulness, and begin to heal — by providing tools to feel safe, seen, and supported.
🧸 From our past projects supporting those impacted by wildfires, and hurricane related floods, we’ve seen how healing begins when communities come together — and when communities are met with compassion, creativity, and care.
Play, Heal, Grow: Disaster Relief Project, inspired by the love, thoughtfulness, and hope brought to communities impacted by the Maui Fires in 2023, Hurricane Helene, Western North Carolina, Southern California.
Our mission is to deliver relief, healing, and hope to children, families, therapeutic centers, schools, and colleagues affected by these devastating events. Together, we can continue to brighten the world, offering support in daily life and especially in times of trauma and crisis.
