At Olympia Therapy, we offer state-approved supervision services for:

LMHC, LMFT, and Registered Play Therapist.

Supervisors on Staff

Anita Baruah, MA.MFT, LMFT-S, CMHS, AAMFT Approved Supervisor Candidate

Anita joined Olympia Therapy in August of 2021 after spending approximately five years working with children, teens, adults, and families in a community mental health agency. Her passion is helping clients move toward growth and healing through play therapies and other modalities to unravel the confusing tangles of trauma, mood, and relationship difficulties. Likewise, she has a passion for helping those entering the psychotherapy field to grow and gain confidence in their innate skills of "being with" clients and integrating theory and humor into the healing process with their clients. Anita has completed the foundational education for the AAMFT Approved Supervisor designation, which also meets the criteria to legally and ethically provide clinical supervision for those seeking LMFT or LMHC licenses to practice in Washington State.

Note: Anita is not able to provide clinical supervision for play therapy.

Cary McAdams Hamilton, MA.MFT, LMHC-S, CMHS, RPT-S

Owner and CEO of Olympia Therapy, Cary, has practiced in the profession for over 17 years and specializes in play therapy. Cary is a Washington State certified supervisor and the only Registered Play Therapy Supervisor in Southwest Washington State. Olympia Therapy continues to grow partly due to Cary's expansive reputation for excellence within her area of expertise. Dedicated to the promotion of the field of play therapy for the benefit of children and families alike, Cary invests considerable time and effort in training future practitioners.
