The Daring Way™️ was designed for work with individuals, couples, families, work teams, and organizational leaders. It can be facilitated in clinical, educational, and professional settings. During the process facilitators explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. Participants are invited to examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding them back and identify the new choices and practices that will move them toward more authentic & wholehearted living.
The primary focus is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we LIVE, LOVE, PARENT, & LEAD.
The Daring Greatly™ program is based on Brené’s bestselling 3rd book of the same name. It is about learning to truly show up wholeheartedly in your life through embracing your own worthiness, practicing healthy vulnerability, becoming more resilient to shame, and connecting deeply with the values you hold dear. You will build the courage to go out into the arenas of your life as your genuine self, to truly connect with the people you hold dear and to dare to go after your dreams.
Rising Strong™ is a new program based on Brené’s 4th book of the same name. It is about recognizing the stories that you tell yourself about your life, particularly about the moments when you stumble. These stories shape our thoughts, emotions and actions, and reckoning with them empowers you to take a fresh look at your emotions and internal narrative. It is about how to get up after you stumble and have the courage to go forward wholeheartedly as you write brave new endings to your stories.
Gifts of Imperfection™️ is a program based on Brené's 2nd book of the same name. Be You, is the foundational concept to learning how to free yourself to let go of who you think you're supposed to be and embrace who you are. I invite you to learn the 11 guideposts for being you to the fullest with joy, courage, gratitude, & authentic.
These groups and workshop experiences are based on the work of Dr. Brené Brown Ph.D, LMSW, a research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work. She has spent the past 16 years studying vulnerability, courage, worthiness, and shame. Her groundbreaking research has been featured on PBS, NPR, CNN, and Oprah Winfrey's Super Soul Sunday. Brené's work is transforming individual, marriages, families, and the work place, and it is powerful because it is tapping into what we were all profoundly and deeply created for...love and belonging. Dr. Brené Brown is the author of Dare To Lead (2018), Braving the Wilderness (2017), Rising Strong (2015), Daring Greatly (2012), The Gifts of Imperfection (2010), and I Thought It Was Just Me ( 2007).
Brené's 2010 TEDx Houston talk, The Power of Vulnerability, is one of the top ten most viewed talks in the world with over 11 million viewers. Additionally, Brené gave the closing talk at the 2012 TED conference where she talked about shame, courage, and innovation.
