April is a compassionate, bilingual (Mandarin Chinese & English) therapist-in-training who works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She is currently pursuing licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist at Seattle University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. April provides support for individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, family conflicts, and intergenerational or cultural challenges. She takes a warm, collaborative, and strengths-based approach, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique needs. April integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Bowen Family Systems Theory, to foster healing, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change. As a bilingual therapist and a member of the BIPOC community, April is dedicated to multicultural counseling. She offers therapy in Mandarin Chinese and is passionate about supporting immigrant families, intergenerational communication, and individuals navigating cultural transitions. April believes that therapy should be a space for healing, self-discovery, and empowerment, where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. Outside of therapy, she enjoys reading, painting by numbers, and dancing.
