The services we offer at Olympia Therapy LLC are tailored according to the unique needs of our clients.
Who are our clients?
Olympia Therapy’s team of behavioral health professionals provides assessment and therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults individually or as couples, families, or groups. In addition, we provide referral, collaboration, consultation, and educational services to area schools, health care providers, and community service organizations. Some of the services we offer based on the credentials, experiences, and interests of our team are listed below.
Assessment services include detailed intake interviews and a range of diagnostic tools designed to determine problem areas, severity of problem, and progress. Selection of methodology is determined according to need and administered as appropriate. We provide both child and adult mental health evaluations, coordinating appropriate care for individuals and families.
We are predominantly an evidence-based practice, meaning that we use treatment methods validated by extensive research and favored by insurance companies. These include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused, and family systems modalities, which we use together with complimentary therapy techniques appropriate to the client's need.
Diagnosable disorders are those listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5, American Psychological Association, 2013). At Olympia Therapy, we treat a number of disorders including childhood disorders such as ADHD, Autism, Conduct Disorder, and separation anxiety. We also treat cognitive disorders and mood disorders, including depression and bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, and many more.

These include relational issues, abuse and neglect, sexual issues, grief and loss, religious or spiritual problems, phase of life challenges, transitional difficulties, identity problems, academic challenges, work and career issues, problems related to a diagnosable condition, and more.
