Services offered

Assessment services include detailed intake interviews and a range of diagnostic tools designed to determine problem areas, severity of problem, and progress. Selection of methodology is determined according to need and administered as appropriate. We provide both child and adult mental health evaluations, coordinating appropriate care for individuals and families.

Treatment Methods
We are predominantly an evidence-based practice, meaning that we use treatment methods validated by extensive research and favored by insurance companies. These include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused, and family systems modalities, which we use together with complimentary therapy techniques appropriate to the client's need.

Diagnosable Disorders
Diagnosable disorders are those listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5, American Psychological Association, 2013).  At Olympia Therapy, we treat a number of disorders including childhood disorders such as ADHD, Autism, Conduct Disorder, and separation anxiety.
